Summary

We are seeking a Shop assistant to join our team at Allied Mechanical Wisconsin. In this role, You will pick up and drop off materials, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, unloading and loading trucks. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality products to the Department of Defense. Tools will be supplied for this position. Hours are 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

Delivery and pick up of materials.

Load/unload semi trucks

Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support operations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined is a bonus

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.

High School diploma or equivalent

Must have a valid drivers license.

Forklift/Scissor lift/Boom lift experience preferred

Clean driving record for the past 6 years is required to pass Insurance requirements

an active driver license is mandatory for this position

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
