Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time role that entails supporting marketing initiatives for the Ebert Family of Businesses: Ebert Enterprises, Ebert Grown, Salmon’s Meat Products and Homestead Kitchen & Tap.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to multi-task, adapt to change, make decisions, work together on a small team
Good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Associates or bachelor’s degree in marketing or other is preferred
Proficient with Adobe programs, specifically: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro
Proficient navigating: social media platforms, Canva, WordPress and drone
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Physical demands:
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
Periods of bending, squatting, standing and walking
Work Relationships:
Supervised by Marketing Manager. Works closely and maintains communication with managers at each of the business and the Ebert Family.
Responsibilities:
Drive internal and external marketing attempts
Create and assist with print efforts: brochures, fliers, business cards, coupons, handouts, magnets, etc.
Communicate daily and weekly specials through social media platforms
Monitor social media through posts, follow up to customer inquiries or feedback
Update websites for all businesses and E-Commerce information for SMP and EG
Update and drive content for Brightlink signs at SMP and HKT
Maintain digital signage and messaging
Set up and organize external events: career fairs, farmers market, trade shows and other local or annual events
Involvement of internal events: meat raffles, ethnic nights, trivia, live music, harvest fest, etc.
Post jobs externally on website and social media platforms
Assist in monitoring reviews
Determine messaging and direction keeping on brand with Marketing Manager
Generate both an external newsletter to SMP & EG customers as well as an internal newsletter to employees
Coordinate and lead some of the internal marketing meetings
Attend external marketing meetings and coordinate with external support individuals
Travel, set up, serve and engage with customers at product demos in stores, a few times a month
Assists in projects as needed by the Marketing Manager (event postcard, promotional videos, TV & radio advertisements, etc.)
Perform other related duties as assigned.
