Job Title: Iron Worker/Carpenter (Metal Building Erector)

Location: Green Bay, WI

Pay: $28 – $34 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duration: Remainder of the season

Start Date: Monday, 9/22/2025

Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Iron Worker/Carpenter (Metal Building Erector) for commercial and agricultural building projects in the Green Bay, WI area. We are looking for dependable and skilled tradespeople who are ready to work for the rest of the season.

Job Duties:

Erect structural steel and install steel framing systems

Construct and assemble agricultural and commercial buildings (including pole barns and steel structures)

Perform steel stud framing, siding, roofing, and sheathing as required

Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Follow blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in carpentry or steel erection

Experience with pole barns, steel erection, or steel stud framing highly preferred

Ability to work at heights and use ladders, lifts, and scaffolding

Job requires proper use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, gloves, boots)

Must have basic hand tools and harness

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Ability to start work promptly at 6:00 AM
