Job Title: Carpenter /Steel Metal Building Erector

Location: Green Bay, WI

Pay: $30 – $34 per hour (based on experience - maybe more)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duration: 6 months, with potential for continued work on nearby projects

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring Carpenters/Metal Building Erectors for a 6-month project in the Green Bay, WI area. This position involves the erection of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) including steel framing, bolted connections, and metal siding/roofing installation.

We are looking for dependable, safety-focused tradespeople with strong experience in PEMB erection who are available to work full-time. Opportunities for continued work may be available upon project completion for those able to travel to other job sites within a 40-mile radius.

Job Duties:

Erect structural steel and PEMB framing systems

Assemble and bolt steel connections

Install metal siding, roofing panels, and sheeting

Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Collaborate with crew to complete tasks on schedule

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience with PEMB erection or steel framing

Skilled in bolting connections, framing, sheeting, and roof panel installation

Comfortable working at heights using lifts, scaffolding, or ladders

Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, gloves, work boots)

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to sites within 40 miles if needed

Strong work ethic and ability to start at 6:00 AM
