Ensure smooth daily operations of NEXTDC facilities, manage contractors, and maintain critical infrastructure to Uptime Institute Gold standards, delivering reliable, high-quality outcomes for NEXTDC and its Hyperscale customers.Key responsibilities include:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing facilities team.Manage daily operations and maintenance of critical systems (electrical, mechanical, UPS, chillers, etc.).Oversee contractors and ensure services meet Uptime Institute Gold standards.Maintain full compliance with WHS, ISO, and company policies.Support recruitment, training, and certification of facility staff.Coordinate rostering, leave, and training to ensure operational coverage.Champion NEXTDC values and lead through organisational change (ADKAR framework).Conduct regular audits, reporting, and equipment testing.Ensure timely incident management and risk escalation.Maintain accurate and current site documentation.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.Support customer equipment handling and service delivery.Manage vendor contracts and contribute to infrastructure upgrades.Participate in the on-call roster for critical system support.About you:Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling, cabling).Familiar with high-density power and cooling technologies and best practices.Experienced in DC systems: DCIM, BMS, EPMS, HVAC, security, and automation.Understands industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
