Schedule: Choose day shifts (10 AM–4 PM) or evening shifts (3 PM–close, usually around 10 PM). Full‑time or part‑time.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
Authentic cuisine & hands‑on training: Prepare hot appetizers and entrées—like tempura, teriyaki and wok‑style dishes—for our sushi restaurant. Formal culinary training isn’t required; we’ll teach you knife skills and cooking techniques so you can grow toward sushi‑chef responsibilities.
Free meals & staff discounts: Enjoy a complimentary hot meal or sushi roll every shift plus employee discounts on your days off.
Predictable, flexible shifts: With only two consistent shifts and a typical closing time of around 9 PM, you get stability without the late‑night bar hours.
Growth in a family‑run environment: We’re a small team, not a corporate chain. Our kitchen is intimate—small enough for one cook during the week and just two on busier weekends—so you’ll have real responsibility and can see the impact of your work. We promote from within and encourage you to share creative ideas for daily specials.
Supportive, close‑knit culture: You’ll work side‑by‑side with owners who care about their team. We value respect, cleanliness and creativity in our mom‑and‑pop shop. This isn’t a big, corporate kitchen; it’s a place where everyone pitches in and grows together.
