Fence Installation Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fence Installation Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality fence installation services. The assistant will work closely with experienced installers to construct, repair, and maintain various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and metal. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead installers in setting up and preparing job sites, including clearing debris and marking fence lines.

Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

Dig post holes, mix concrete, and set fence posts according to specifications.

Help install fence panels, gates, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.

Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, levels) under supervision.

Ensure job sites are clean and safe, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Assist with measuring and cutting materials to meet project requirements.

Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor on-site.

Perform minor repairs and maintenance on fences as needed.

Follow instructions from lead installers and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications:

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50-75 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Working Conditions:

Full-time or part-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Work is primarily outdoors, requiring standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain).

Safety gear may be required (Boots, gloves safety glasses etc).

Pay Range:

$18–$24 per hour, depending on experience.
