Hi, my name is Damon Gibson, owner of Gibson Fence and Deck. We are a small high-end builder in West Seattle. We're booked up for several months in advance and have a stable clientele and cohesive work environment. We love what we do and take a lot of pride in our work. We’re looking to hire a crew lead. Preferably with experience building fences or decks (but not necessary). We pay well, have full medical and retirement etc. and you'll be a good fit if you're highly productive, stable, and fun to work with. Here’s a list of the minimum traits you’ll need:

1. Intelligent, quick, and kind/professional, present well

2. Ability to communicate and coordinate with clients

3. We’d like you to enjoy learning and be able to do so quickly

4. Fluent English

5. Basic Carpentry knowledge (if you have the right traits we’ll train you, even if you’re not highly experienced)

6. Ability and desire to lead, maintain productivity and quality, and learn to run a stable and happy crew that enjoys their work

7. Ability to learn and run simple administrative/communication processes smoothly

The philosophy I've built my business around is craftsmanship, learning and efficiency. Doing projects well makes for happy clients and a fun/rewarding workday. Most of our work comes from referrals and you can see from our reviews why. I often take on projects that have design challenges or use unusual and unique materials. This means that we'll always be learning new skills. With more standard projects we'll be working quickly to maximize productivity.
