Construction Labor

Merit Homes is a long-established homebuilder known for high-quality, thoughtfully designed contemporary homes. We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable General Laborer to support our construction team through all phases of land development and home building.

What You’ll Do:

Perform general construction labor: lifting, digging, cleaning, organizing, sweeping

Assist with lumber handling, grading, and prep for concrete

Install drain systems, cover cabinets/counters

Sanding, staining, touch-up painting

Ability to lift and transport item weighing up to 50 lbs.

Support site teams with various tasks as skills develop

What We’re Looking For:

Construction experience preferred but not required

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn

Reliable, organized, good communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and cell phone

Must pass a background check
