Caretaker - Manager Recreation Lodge

Trollhaugen Lodge; owned by the Sons of Norway District 2, is seeking full time Caretakers to oversee daily operations of the Lodge. Trollhaugen is a year round recreational facility nestled in the Cascade Mountains, 1 mile South of 1-90 on Stampede Pass Road . The ability to communicate effectively and warmly with lodge members and their guests is highly desirable. Experience and knowledge of building maintenance is necessary as well as mechanical aptitude. Duties include reservations, snow cat maintenance, maintaining cleanliness of the lodge, bathrooms, sauna, hot tub and laundry as well as snow removal from common areas. The Manager/Caretaker position requires two persons (spouse, associate as second person). A modest year round apartment (12 month) with all utilities, basic satellite TV and internet are included. The position is structured as a renewable I-year contract, $3,600 month (including apartment) with choice to work year round or up to two months off each year during summer season). 5 day work week with 2 days off.
