Camp Cook Wanted

Camp cook wanted for the 2025 Elk/Deer Season in the Panhandle of Idaho, Units 7 and 10. Camp is outside of Avery, Idaho and the Red Ives Ranger Station. The season runs from August 25-November 4. Must have at least 1 year experience (or a season) in cooking outdoors for minimum of 6 people (up to 8) at a time. Job description is as follows:

1. The day starts at 4am

2. Must be clean and organized in your kitchen.

3 Prepare Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for clients and guides.

4 Do clean up and prep work before meals and after

5. May have to fetch water from the stream if the camp jack isn't available.

6. Cleaning is the most important before and after meals.

7. A menu is provided to you as a guide.

Compensation can be negotiated when calling, we pay twice a month. Also, tips can be a big thing in camp, in addition to your wages. (Especially for cooks.) The better your meals, the more likely you are to get tips from the clients.
