Location: Fairhaven, Bellingham

Schedule: Full Time, Tues–Sat, 11:15am–7:15pm

Pay: $25/hr plus 3 to 6% commission

Peter James Photography Gallery in Historic Fairhaven is seeking a charismatic and motivated Gallery Host to help us share the beauty of nature through fine art photography. This is more than just a job - it’s an opportunity to inspire people, connect them with artwork that transforms their spaces, and support a mission of healing the Earth through tree planting and restoration.

About Us

Our gallery features the awe-inspiring, large-scale photography of Peter James, capturing the Pacific Northwest in its most vivid and breathtaking moments, alongside the visionary collage art of his wife iMa. Every piece we create is designed to awaken awe, spark joy, and reconnect people with the beauty of the natural world.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome and connect with guests, sharing the stories and details behind the artwork

- Guide potential collectors through our Mockup Service and ordering process

- Enter and manage leads in our CRM (HubSpot), with friendly and timely follow-up

- Create mockups in Photoshop (visual/interior design skills a plus)

- Assist with marketing: email campaigns, social media, and blog content

- Keep the gallery looking clean, beautiful, and inspiring every day

What We’re Looking For

- Outgoing, energetic, and confident starting conversations

- Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing

- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

- Proficient with Mac computers; Photoshop skills preferred

- Passion for nature, art, and creating uplifting experiences for others

- Positive energy and a polished, professional presence

Compensation

$25/hour to start

3% to 6% sales commissions
