A resume and cover letter are required to be considered for this roleSUMMARY: The University of Richmond's Weinstein Learning Center (WLC) is a centralized resource for student support in the areas of writing, public expression, academic coaching, content tutoring, technology, quantitative and computational learning, and English language and intercultural learning. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with strong organizational and interpersonal skills for the role of administrative coordinator. The administrative coordinator, under the supervision of the administrative specialist, will help maintainthe Learning Centeroperational systems and processes and assist in the supervision of the student WLC Ambassador team. Day-to-day operational support provided in this rolewill consist ofspace and data maintenance, frontdesk duties and student supervision, participation in student employee onboarding and professional development, and marketing and event coordination.The position is responsible for oversight of assigned project portfolios relating to a highly visible university-side Learning Center, engages multiple stakeholders across campus, and requires working both independently and collaboratively.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: Working conditions of a typical office environment can be expected, with occasional outdoor activity and standing during events. Movement and medium lifting required during events and office supply deliveries.QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge, skills & ability:Ability to collaborate with various campus units to produce and maintain mutually beneficial initiatives. Ability to learn scheduling, payroll, and supply inventory processes.Thorough knowledge of Office 365/Microsoft Office, G Suite, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software. Ability to become proficient in Workday, CSS/EMS Web App, and Cascade processes. Ability to interpret and apply University policies and procedures. Record of managing multiple projects and planning effectively to achieve both short and long-term goals. Record of working collectively with various stakeholders to find creative, research-based solutions and innovations. Ability to assess and categorize needs and effectively share findings with the appropriate stakeholders. Passion for academic student support and the ability to learn WLC peer support processes.Education & experience:Minimum of high school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in administrative roles required. Experience supervising student employees preferred.Social media and/or marketing experience preferred.Work Hours:Full-time, in-person, non-exempt position Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 7.75 hrs./day; 38.75 hrs./week Some evening and weekend hours as needed.SALARY STRUCTURE: Pay Grade 4 ($18.18 to $25.00 per hour)
