We are a family owned, full-service Meat Proccessing Plant, that is looking for a full-time person (or even a couple part-time people) to join our small team. Hours are 4-10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday, 6am-4pm, with paid lunch. Starting salary is $18/hour with increases dependent on skills, how fast you learn, dependability and reliability. Training is provided.
Duties include using a knife and operating a cryovac machine. You will cut, de-bone, trim, grind meat into burger and process large sections of meat, into smaller, retail-ready cuts like steaks and chops. Key responsibilities include inspecting meat for quality, weighing, packaging, labeling, maintaining sanitation and equipment. Duties may also include operating a band saw and hand saw. Hair Nets (or hats), beard nets, meat coats, rubber boots, knives are required and provided.
