We are building a professional team and are seeking an experienced Painting Production Manager to join us in a leadership role as a Responsible Managing Employee (RME) to help guide our company’s growth.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Painter who holds an S-270 license (Drywall, Paint, Plaster & Insulation) to serve as our Painting Production Manager.

This role combines hands-on painting work with management of subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. In the early days, the position will involve actively painting on jobs as needed while also supervising crews.

Key Responsibilities:

RME Responsibilities:

- Serve as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for Beehive Painters’ S-270 license.

- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, trade standards, and company policies.

Hands-On Painting:

- Perform painting and wall-covering work on job sites as required.

- Assist with prep work, finishes, touch-ups, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality results.

Project Supervision & Coordination:

- Supervise day-to-day operations on job sites, including both company crews and subcontractors.

- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure all job sites comply with safety regulations, industry best practices, and DOPL requirements.

- Enforce proper use of PPE, safe painting techniques, and adherence to state and company standards.

Qualifications:

- Must hold a valid Utah painting contractor license (S‑270 or relevant classification).

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the painting industry (residential and/or commercial).

- Proven experience managing painting crews or subcontractors.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work on-site and supervise projects as needed.
