The Haven & The Laurels at Stone Oak is a beautiful community in San Antonio, TX, with more than 150 units offering assisted living and Alzheimer's care.

Hiring For

At this time, we are seeking a Receptionist to join our team! Training will be provided! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THIS AD!

Industry Experience:

Ability to work accurately and efficiently

Some knowledge of computer skills or programs such as Word or Excel may be needed

Some knowledge of making flyers for events and activities

Ability to work well under pressure

Warm outgoing personality

Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds

Duties Include:

Assure the readiness of the reception area for each working day

Greet residents, family members and other guests and direct all people to appropriate locations and services

Maintain forms and office supplies required for front desk operations

Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of residents; assure resident confidentiality at all times

Participate in staff and educational meetings when needed

Answer multi-line phone system, determine nature of call & route calls as appropriate

Schedule/maintain transportation log for driver

Handle multiple tasks and be organized in a fast paced environment

Assist other departments if asked

Make sure sales materials are prepared

Respond to verbal sales inquiries appropriately and in a timely manner

Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism!

Ability to interact with residents who are highly susceptible to common illnesses

Maintain a professional business office appearance. (On occasion we have spirit days/weeks and casual Fridays with jeans!)

Training will be provided at both Memory Care & Assisted Living buildings

Shift/Hours

Daytime: 8:30am-5:00pm, M-F

This is a healthcare facility and this job may also require working some holidays.
