Do you have 5+ years of experience working as a lead or supervisor in an industrial or commercial painting, I.E, metal fabrication coatings, control panels, sheet metal enclosures?

Our client is a 44-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems, and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products, including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, process control, and more.
Our Ideal Paint Supervisor Will Have:
5 years of industrial/commercial painting experience
Deep knowledge of both wet painting and powder coating processes
Skilled in reading blueprints and technical documents
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in basic computer tools (Excel, email, scheduling software)
Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities and full operations of the paint and powder coat shop
Assign work schedules and assist in hiring and staffing
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members. Complete performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and administer raises
Review production orders and prioritize tasks accordingly
Ensure all painted products meet internal and customer quality standards
Maintain paint equipment and schedule routine maintenance as needed
Lead safety meetings and perform routine safety audits
