The Occupational Therapist (OT) Supervisor is a pivotal leadership role responsible for elevating the standard of clinical practice and driving continuous improvement across our Occupational Therapy programs. This supervisor will oversee, mentor, and train our team of OTs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services that address the functional, sensory, and developmental needs of our clients.Leadership & Program ManagementSupervision & Mentorship: Provide comprehensive clinical supervision, guidance, and direct mentorship to all staff Occupational Therapists.Quality Assurance: Monitor, evaluate, and ensure adherence to best practices, regulatory standards, and internal policies in all assessments and treatment plans.Resource Coordination: Strategically coordinate caseload assignments, manage clinical resources, and oversee the provision of essential assessment and adaptive equipment supplies.Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the clinical expert and representative for the OT department, interfacing effectively with internal leadership, external stakeholders, and community partners.Training & Professional DevelopmentOnboarding: Coordinate the scheduling of training and onboarding for all new OT staff, covering clinical procedures and documentation standards.Continuing Education: Coordinate staff development sessions and workshops to ensure the team maintains expertise in evolving standards and  practice within Occupational Therapy.Skill Enhancement: Mentor team members in advanced clinical skills, particularly related to sensory integration, motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs), fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in treatment quality.Collaboration & Interdisciplinary PracticeInterdisciplinary Teamwork: Proactively facilitate and strengthen interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, particularly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other clinical professionals, to promote a holistic approach to client care.Program Implementation: Collaborate with leadership to assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of occupational therapy programs.
