Technician I

Houston, TX 77073

Shifts: (Monday- Friday and alternating Saturdays)

5AM-1:30PM (could extend to 3:30PM based on demand)-$15.50(hourly rate)

4PM-12:30AM (could extend to 2:30AM based on demand) $16.50(hourly rate) + $1.25(shift differential)= $17.75/hr.

Overtime is authorized as needed.

Technician – Summary

Our client is hiring for Technicians that supports Pre-Delivery Services (PDS) by preparing Toyota vehicles to meet customer and dealer demands. Responsibilities include driving and moving vehicles safely, inspecting and installing accessories, performing quality checks, maintaining work areas/tools, and assisting teammates with training. Work requires compliance with safety rules, productivity standards, and data privacy practices.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive and move vehicles in various conditions.

Install and verify vehicle accessories; perform inspections and final quality checks.

Report and document defects, prepare required paperwork, and comply with Toyota Audit Criteria.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards).

Stock materials, safeguard tools, and ensure proper handling of customer/consumer data.

Provide on-the-job support and training to peers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; 0–2 years related experience or training.

Valid driver’s license; must pass drug screen.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 100 lbs.

Mechanical aptitude; ability to use PPE, read safety sheets, and follow instructions.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
