Heavy Equipment Operator

Starting Pay: $65k to $85k/year depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Operate excavators, loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, graders, forklifts, etc.

Perform site prep, excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling

Read plans/grade stakes and follow project specs

Complete daily equipment inspections and report issues

Follow all OSHA and company safety rules

Work with superintendent/crew and assist with general labor as needed

Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications:

2–5+ years equipment operating experience

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Safety or equipment certifications preferred

Ability to read site layouts/blueprints

Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors

Strong teamwork and communication skills
