Group Home Care Giver IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

Direct Care Professional (HCS) needed in Lancaster Texas

Staff will work in the home with up to 8 individuals; assist individuals to achieve community living goals; teach and maintain individuals daily living skills; will transport them to activities, and actively participate in recreation with individuals served in the community.

Caregiver needed to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

2 to 10 and overnight shifts available

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

RELIABLE transportation to get to/from work and valid drivers license

Experience in care-taking field a plus

Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals a plus

Must be able to teach community living skills

Must be able to follow person directed plans and behavior plans

Must respect all rights of individuals served

Must be able to attend all training prior to start date

Must assure that house is clean at all times

Must pass criminal history background check and employee misconduct registry check
