Financial Controller

Oversee financial operations for 2 properties (Cooinda Lodge Kakadu & Mercure Crocodile Hotel), including accounting, payroll, AP/AR, cashflow, and compliance with Accor standards.Prepare and deliver financial reporting : end of month actuals, forecasts, Board reports and presentations, statutory returns (BAS, payroll tax, FBT, income tax) and annual budgets.Provide strategic support to Hotel General Managers, offering advice on cost control, revenue analysis, financial modelling, and capital expenditure management.Maintain internal controls : ensure adherence to company policies, legislative requirements, and accurate maintenance of fixed asset registers and capital works reporting.Lead and develop the finance team across both properties, ensuring effective communication and mentoring of direct reports.
