We are seeking a dynamic Conference Sales Executive to join our team at Novotel Canberra! In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling conference packages to corporate clients and organisations. Responsibilities include:Proactively respond to new sales opportunities and effectively manage incoming leads via phone, email, and online channels.Prepare detailed proposals tailored to client needs, covering venue, function spaces, catering, and accommodation to maximise revenue.Conduct site inspections and host familiarisation events, ensuring follow-up is prompt and professional.Analyse competitor activity in the region and make strategic recommendations to enhance sales performance.Collaborate closely with the Conference & Events team to ensure seamless handovers and the successful delivery of client events.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles using Delphi (or similar CRM systems).Assist in forecasting and reporting on sales activity, contributing to the development of sales strategies.Build and nurture relationships with key partnersEnsure all sales correspondence is actioned promptlyFocus on client retention by strengthening relationships and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
