Automotive Technician / $5,000 hiring / $20-$30 Hour

We are looking for general automotive repair technicians to add to our team. Our in-house repair teams handles basic repairs, maintenace, welding, minor electrical work. We do not handle major items like motor repair and transmission repair as we outsource those items. Our fleet of vehicles are commercially operated passenger transpportation vehicles for local Nashville routes. We are looking for an additional person to add to our team to assist in repairs, service, and inspections and general maintenance. This is a full-time position or part-time position. We are looking for someone who is familiar with basic automotive repairs, welding, plumbing and electrical work.

You would be responsible for assisting in maintaining operational functions of our fleet of vehicles, making repairs, preventive maintenance to equipment and performing basic maintenance for the equipment. We are looking for someone who is dependable and a self-starter.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles.

Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles

Completing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacement and changes, replacing filters, etc

Maintains vehicle functional conditions by listening to operator complaints and/or issues, diagnosing failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, mostly 12V and 110v.

Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.

Keeps shop equipment operating in good working condition.

Maintains supplies and parts levels

Perform preventive maintenance

Answering call for repairs.
