Scripted Development Intern

Matchbox Pictures is looking for a scripted development intern to be based in either its Sydney or Melbourne office. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in a career in scripted development across genres; a love and understanding of television drama is essential. The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational abilities as well as the capability to multi-task and prioritise with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in administration, production, research, script assessment will be highly regarded. Ideally you will also be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Final Draft, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject specific research.Market research for domestic and international markets.Coverage of various.Assistance in creating pitch decks and presentations.Assistance with budgets, schedules and writers room coordination.Assistance with funding acquittals and applications.Provide script notes and coverage as directed by the development team. Coordinating the execution of legal documents, filing and general administration tasks as directed by development team.
