Scope of Position:
Ensure proper and timely filing and monitoring of district level post entry activity, including
but not limited to, CF28s, CF29s, post summary corrections (PSCs), protests,
supplemental duty tenders, IOR revisions, etc., in accordance with regulatory and
corporate compliance guidelines and operational process standards.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit post entry activity within statutory timelinesEnsure proper monitoring of post entry activity through to US Customs decision/liquidationMaintain a high level of expertise in CBP regulations, rulings, and trade policy updates impacting post entry processesAct as a point of contact for clients, explaining discrepancies, duty amount changes, and compliance updatesProvide required visibility to clients for post entry status updatesManage all post entry activities according to Expeditors’ Operational Process Standards (OPS) and utilizing the Post Entry Management Application (PEMA)Provide routine internal updates regarding pending and active post entry
