Job Title: General Construction Laborer

Location: North Myrtle Beach

Job Type: Day

Compensation: $17 Hr - Pay By Day

Reports To: Site Supervisor or Project Manager

Job Summary:

Baldwin Builders is a general contracting company based in North Myrtle Beach, SC. We complete commercial and residential new construction & renovations.

We are seeking hardworking and reliable General Construction Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will support construction projects by preparing job sites, loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, and performing general labor tasks. You’ll work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and up to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with site preparation, including demolition, digging, and loading/unloading materials

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt

Set up and break down scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures

Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas

Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Support skilled trades as needed (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers)

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

Prior construction or manual labor experience a plus

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work environments with exposure to noise, dust, and extreme temperatures
