Part-Time Armed Guard (Flexible Schedule)

Looking for a licensed armed guard in Rhode Island for part-time on-call work. This is a calm, low-intensity role for an experienced professional looking to pick up occasional work. You’ll be required to be present during scheduled errands or appointments. No physical security work, no patrolling, no interaction with the public. Just punctual, quiet, and alert.

Details:

Schedule: 2-4x/month, 2 - 4hours per visit

Pay: $40/hour ($80 minimum per visit)

Work type: 1099 Contractor

Location: Rhode Island (Providence County and surrounding areas)

Requirements:

Active Rhode Island Blue Card

Valid Rhode Island Concealed Carry Permit (CCW), municipal or state-issued

21+ years old, clean criminal record

Valid driver’s license

Clean background

Professional, calm demeanor

Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience preferred

Nice to Have:

Bonded or insured

Retired law enforcement or veteran background
