Welding/Fabrication

To aide and assist shop production and efficiency by increasing organization and by promoting high levels of productive behavior. To assist in a program that gradually progresses to more refinement at the all production levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Light Duty Hand Tool Use (Grinders, Welder, Saws, Hand Tools, Pliers, etc.)

2. Forklift Operation Preferred

3. Previous Fabrication Required

4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as company may find appropriate and acceptable.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Small part organization (chain link fence fittings, etc.)

2. Racking & hanging small parts (chain link fence fittings and ornamental iron brackets)

3. Job part & piece organization (chain link, gate, ornamental, miscellaneous small fittings)

4. Cleaning & organization of internal shop area (sweeping & miscellaneous part placement)

5. Cut Lists (Follow, Produce, and Execute Multiple Cut Lists For Fabrication Products)

6. Fabrication (Welding and Grinding of Various Fence/Gate Components)

7. Material Inventory & Records

8. Small Crew Supervision & Oversee

9. Communication of Daily and Weekly Goals/Jobs

10. Loading and unloading of material to and from outside vendors
