Metal Fabrication

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal components, utilizing various tools and techniques to create high-quality products that meet industry standards.

Duties

Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate fabrication methods.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and other metal fabrication machinery, including press brake machines, for shaping and assembling metal parts.

Perform welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to join metal components securely.

Measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision and adherence to codes and standards.

Assemble fabricated components, handrails, stairs and other custom metal fabricated assemblies into final products, ensuring quality control throughout the process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role is required.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and welding equipment.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to metal fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.

Experience with assembly processes is a plus.

Knowledge of all welding techniques is advantageous.
