Food manufacturing

An opportunity to be part of a uniquely Eugene institution. Surata Soyfoods has been manufacturing certified organic, sustainable food products for over 44 years. We now have opening for a worker to participate in the creation of the nations best Tofu and Tempeh.

Position Starts at $16.50. Raises are automatically given based on hours worked, with merit raises when applicable. 5 days paid vacation per year,, medical and dental offered if position becomes full time.

About 115-20available hours per week. Shifts are throughout the week and start times vary depending on postion but are later in morning or in the afternoon.

Position is basic food packaging and manufacturing. This entails some lifting bending, putting together machinery, some scrubbing/cleaning and general creation of the product on the production floor.

Must be able to lift about 60 pounds. Must be able to work independently and have an ability to pay attention to detail. Some repetitive work involved. Basic understanding of food safety is helpful but not necessary.
