Direct Support Professional

Here at Benco, we are hiring for Direct Support Professionals to work with adults with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their homes. We are looking for someone who is excited to work with our residents and brings positivity to their everyday lives. Some people want a movie buddy, some want to go for a stroll, others need help making their meals, but most importantly, they all need support from someone like you! Someone who is looking to make a difference.

Right now, we are hiring both full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals. 30 hours per week is considered to be full-time.

Pay and Raises:

The starting pay for a DSP at Benco ranges from $18.00 to $22.08/hour. This position is capped at $29.84/hour.

For our team, we love to show appreciation for all the hard work done and the lives they’re improving. A raise is given every 6 months for the first 2 years and continues annually! (Until the employee has reached the cap for their position)

The program offers to elevate the status of Direct Support Professionals by improving practice standards, promoting system reform, and advancing their knowledge, skills, and values. Furthermore, offering the control to increase your wages (alongside raises) as you complete each credentialing program if you have not reached the CAP for that position.

Qualifications:

· Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

· A high school diploma or GED is required at the minimum.

· Must have a valid license and good driving record.
