Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
Interpret automotive schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend necessary repairs.
Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and services to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's needs, repair options, and timelines.
Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Skills
ASE Certification is required.
GM Training preferred.
Excellent - dependable work ethic.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and schematics for effective problem-solving.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
Experience in auto estimating for repairs, ensuring transparency in pricing for clients.
Ability to weld as needed for specific repairs or modifications.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records of services performed.
