As a Tax Director at SIXT, you will play a critical role in leading the company’s tax strategy, compliance, and reporting across federal, state, and international jurisdictions. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance and working closely with internal business groups, senior leadership, and external advisors, you will ensure compliance with ASC 740 and IFRS standards, oversee audits, and guide the organization in navigating complex tax matters. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is passionate about developing talent while driving efficiency and compliance in all aspects of taxation.YOUR ROLE AT SIXTYou prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740 and IFRS, including disclosures, foreign provisions, deferred taxes, and uncertain tax positionsYou oversee and manage federal, state, and international tax audits, filings, and reconciliations, while identifying and mitigating tax risks across all jurisdictionsYou collaborate with external consultants on transfer pricing analysis and documentation, and ensure indirect tax compliance including sales, use, property, and motor vehicle rental taxesYou conduct complex tax research and analysis, implementing findings and advising leadership, business units, and external stakeholders on compliance and strategyYou lead ad hoc analyses and special projects, coordinating efforts across internal teams and external advisors to support business operations and growthYou develop, mentor, and guide members of the North American tax team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growthYOUR SKILLS MATTEREducation & Experience – You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a CPA or Master’s in Taxation is strongly preferred.
