We are seeking dedicated and passionate Sous Chef/Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality and consistent meals to our guests. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Perform dishwashing duties, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
Support catering events as needed, assisting with meal setup and service.
Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
Experience in the restaurant or food industry is beneficial; culinary experience is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
