Installation and Site Survey Technician

Specific responsibilities include but may not be limited to:Surveys:Coordinate survey plan with PM and FAA on-site personnelPerform pre-brief to on-site personnelCollect configuration data at FAA siteObtain measurements, equipment informationObserve and report potential hazardous materials or safety issuesDevelop and submit survey reportsInstallations:Performing system installation including cabling and connections to local area and wide area networks;Supporting familiarization training FAA system support personnel;Resetting passwords, implementing patches, and updating system configuration parameters as required;Coordinating all maintenance actions with operations control center personnel;Performing local and remote testing on equipment including running system diagnostics to identify faults;Performing system restoration including the replacement of LRUs to remedy failures;Returning failed LRUs for repair;Tracking spare parts stock levels;Supporting the development of Technical Manuals.
