Job Description

We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who are ready to work on a fast-paced, high-quality construction project.

As a Rod Buster, you will be responsible for:

Placing and securing steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.

Cutting, bending, tying, and installing rebar according to blueprints and specifications.

Using tools such as rebar cutters, benders, and tying equipment safely and efficiently.

Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 of rod busting or related construction experience.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Skills: Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is preferred.

As a Concrete Finisher you're responsible for:

r placing, finishing, and curing concrete to achieve smooth, level, and durable surfaces. They work on a variety of projects—such as sidewalks, driveways, floors, roads, bridges, and other structural elements—ensuring that concrete is properly shaped and meets design specifications.

Experience:1–3 years in concrete finishing or a related construction trade.

Technical Skills: Proficient with finishing tools (trowels, floats, edgers, screeds, power trowels)

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.

Knowledge: Understanding of concrete curing methods, mix designs, and finishing techniques.

Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, ability to meet project deadlines.

Certifications: OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.

Availability: Must be ready to start immediately and work flexible hours if required.
