Student Intern/Unlicensed Architect or Freelance Draftsperson/Designer

Job title: Freelance Draftsperson / Designer or (Student) Intern or Unlicensed Architect

I am seeking a freelance interior design professional, or student-intern draftsperson, or unlicensed architect to support ongoing residential projects. Candidates must be located near Nyack, NY for occasional in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:

Prepare design drawings, and space plans.

Create CAD drawings and technical documentation

Contribute to design concepts and presentations

Coordinate with contractors and consultants as needed

Requirements:

Proficiency with rendering software and CAD drafting/design skills (3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

Ability to interpret architectural drawings and develop accurate plans

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently

Ability to deliver polished, realistic renderings on deadline

Previous residential project experience preferred

Must be located near Rockland or Westchester counties (NY), NYC or Northern NJ, but will also consider someone outside of NY/NJ;

Must be willing to attend in-person collaborative meetings 1-2 times/month
