Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50+ LBS.

-Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

-Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and resolving any issues.

-Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices are followed.

-Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays to ensure products are readily available for customers.

-Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement.

-Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.

-Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in a cashier or retail sales role is preferred.

Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.

Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective customer interactions.

Basic math skills are required for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.
