From the team behind INNESS, Lola Pizza, Ray’s Bar and Freemans, Little Goat is a new cafe, market and restaurant that celebrates the beauty of farm-to-table dining in the Hudson Valley. We focus on vegetable-forward dishes, housemade pasta, local meats and freshly baked goods. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented line cooks who are excited to be part of, and contribute to, a new neighborhood destination in Rhinebeck.
The Role:
You are responsible for your station including proper mise en place, set up and execution of food during service.
Communication with Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to complete daily tasks as required.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Maintaining sanitation standards.
AM and PM shifts available.
Full-time and Part-time shifts available.
Currently open 5 days/week, Wednesday - Sunday.
Pay is commensurate with experience!
What We’re Looking For:
At least 1 Year of hospitality experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Culinary Arts degree or advanced culinary arts certification is a plus but not required.
A love for farm-to-table cooking and an enthusiasm and willingness to learn about and prepare vegetable-focused dishes and housemade pastas with an emphasis on Mediterranean favors and spices.
Commitment to maintaining exceptional food quality and an impeccable kitchen environment.
Reliable; able to get to work on time and stay focused and efficient.
