Laundromat Attendants NEEDED

Location: Parkchester, Bronx, NY

Position Summary:

Manor Laundry is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to join our team in Parkchester, Bronx. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English is required, with a preference for Spanish proficiency) and committed to providing exceptional service in a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with questions or concerns about equipment and services.

Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keep the facility clean, including wiping down machines, folding tables, and seating areas; take out trash; and ensure restrooms are well-maintained.

Machine Monitoring: Inspect washers, dryers, and vending machines to ensure they are functioning properly. Report issues to management promptly.

Laundry Services: Handle drop-off wash-and-fold orders, including washing, drying, and folding according to customer preferences.

Safety & Security: Monitor the premises to ensure a safe environment for all customers.

Requirements:

Language Skills: Must be bilingual, with fluent English as the primary language.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required

Customer Service Skills: Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude and ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform light cleaning duties.

Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with flexible availability for shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Experience: Prior experience in a laundromat or customer service role is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
