Experienced Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Estimator

Looking for an experienced structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection estimator, ideally 5+ years of pricing structural steel projects experience up to 20 million dollars in contract value for a single project.

We expect you to be capable of the following:

Communicate with contractors via email in order to bid on proposed work

Make and send out to proposals to contractors for proposed work

Perform takeoff and create a itemized breakdown which is clear and concise

Follow up on bids for projects which we already submitted and are pending

Be familiar with printing on a large format plotter ie. scaling, replacing ink/toner & paper

Basic understanding of word, excel and pdf software

Familiarity pricing union projects
