Experienced Deli Person for busy Bagel Store

Atlantic Bagels is looking for a skilled and passionate Deli Man or Deli Woman to join our team in Brooklyn Heights.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepare excellent sandwiches, and package food with care. Present it to the customer with their experience and pleasure in mind.

Be a great team worker by communicating well, keeping a clean work station, and being accountable for your responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in delis and/or bagel stores preparing bagels with cream cheese, deli sandwiches, and orders for takeout/delivery.

People-person with excellent communication skills and ability to make customers feel good.

Able to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining a cool head and a sense of humor.

Always-Be-Cleaning (ABC) mentality. Pride in work and in personal presentation.

Honesty and reliability.

Interest in growing and learning.

Pay starts at $18/hour, plus tips and staff meals. Raises given after probationary period. Starting with part-time but could grow to full-time depending on additional skills and availability.
