HOM Cafe & Wine is a newly opened café and wine bar in Park Slope, seeking a motivated and skilled cook to lead our small plates program. We’re looking for someone passionate about authentic techniques and modern creativity to craft exceptional dumplings, buns, and specialty bites for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute a variety of dim sum dishes to a high standard
Collaborate with our chef to develop seasonal specials
Ensure consistency, quality, and elegant presentation of all dishes
Oversee prep work, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
Proven expertise in traditional dim sum preparation
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Valid Food Protection Handler Certificate (required)
