Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance to machinery and facilities in a commercial fishing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for repairing and improving performance on conveyors

Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Install and repair plumbing systems

Assist in designing machinery modifications

Maintain responsibility for inspection and upkeep of assigned equipment

Handle and maneuver large machinery components

Maintaining and repairing diesel engines

Handling and storage of maintenance supplies and equipment

Timely and accurate submission of paperwork (as required)

Other duties as assigned
