We're seeking a skilled and dependable Gyro Carver experienced in slicing high-quality meats directly from a vertical rotisserie. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision carving of chicken gyro, pork gyro, and beef & lamb gyro, delivering perfect portions consistently. Join our dynamic, fast-paced team at Efi's Gyro, serving fresh Greek street food.

Responsibilities:

Expertly carve meats from vertical rotisserie to order, ensuring proper portion size and presentation.

Help fulfill orders and assist line cooks as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at the gyro station.

Assist in prep tasks, including marinating and loading meats onto rotisserie spits.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Monitor meat quality and rotation to ensure optimal freshness and flavor.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with vertical rotisseries (gyro/doner/shawarma).

Excellent knife-handling skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
