Expeditor Wanted – Bagels by Jarrett (BXJ), West Orange

Bagels by Jarrett is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team. This role is the heartbeat of the shop—making sure every order leaves looking perfect and on point. Previous restaurant experience is important.

What you’ll do:

Garnish dishes

Check accuracy of every order

Package bags for takeout and keep the flow moving

Make smart decisions quickly in a busy, high-energy environment

What we need from you:

Laser-sharp attention to detail and a sense of urgency

Experience working in fast-paced kitchens (expediting experience a big plus)

Ability to stay cool under pressure and own the role after training

Pay & Hours:

$20/hour plus tips

Schedule:

Monday: 11:00a – 3:30p

Wednesday: 3:30p – 8:00p

Thursday: 10:00a – 8:00p

Saturday: 10:00a – 8:00p

This isn’t a “maybe” position—you either thrive here or you don’t. We’ll train you on how we do things, but after that, the role is yours to own.
