The Enquiry Desk Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the enquiry desk, ensuring that all customer, vendor, and internal inquiries are handled promptly and accurately. The manager leads a team responsible for managing quotes, coordinating with departments (sales, purchasing, logistics), and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and respond to incoming enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

Supervise and support the enquiry desk team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Review and approve quotes, RFQs (Requests for Quotation)

Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely responses.

Maintain an organized system for tracking all enquiries and follow-ups.

Train new team members on company protocols, product knowledge, and customer service practices.

Analyze enquiry trends and provide reports to management for strategic insights.

Ensure SAP system is accurately updated with enquiry data.

Handle complex or escalated enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

Ensure compliance with company policies and service level agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in customer service, sales support, or operations role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.

Proficiency with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite).

Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
