Architectural Designer

Someone creates functional and aesthetically pleasing designs and plans for buildings and spaces, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Use technology like AutoCAD software to develop detailed drawings and blueprints, and collaborate with architects and engineers to bring a project from concept to construction.

Must be able to break out material take-offs from drawings provided by client.

Communicate with clients, construction managers, planners, and design teams.

Substantial knowledge of architectural hardware.

Online take-off, BID Submissions, RFP's, Project estimating, follow up on pending projects, coordinate with site super, answer emails, answering phone calls.

Able to create detailed drawings of buildings and other construction projects, using their knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics a PLUS.
