Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are seeking a Test Coordinator to join our Student Disability Services (SDS) team within Student and Scholarly Services.In this role, you will provide expert coordination of test support for students with disabilities across all University of Auckland campuses. You will process, update, and maintain special conditions case files within the University’s disability case management system (Symplicity Access) and provide specialist advice, training, and guidance to academic and professional staff regarding special conditions in tests.You will also contribute to ongoing process improvements and strategic initiatives to enhance accessibility, ensuring that students receive equitable support and an inclusive test experience.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating the provision and communication of approved test special conditions for students with disabilities.Managing student case files and liaising with academic and professional staff to ensure smooth implementation.Coordinating communications with faculties and departments, including start-of-semester updates.Providing technical support and training for users of the Faculty Access Portal.Leading process improvement initiatives to improve test coordination and student experience.Supervising casual staff assisting with test coordination logistics.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed-term position for a period of 12 months.The salary range for this role is $62,400 - $77,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.For more detailed information about the role, please review the Position Description. Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the teamStudent Disability Services (SDS) is part of Student and Scholarly Services, providing specialist advice and support to students with disabilities to ensure equitable access to learning opportunities and assessments. SDS works closely with faculties, academic services, Campus Care, and Assessment Services to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. He kōrero mōu | About youYou will bring experience in coordination and relationship management within a large, complex environment. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and exceptional service delivery.Essential:A bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification.3–4 years’ experience delivering high-quality customer service.Experience in managing coordination logistics and working with a wide range of stakeholders.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to use digital systems confidently, including databases and Microsoft Office programs.Preferred:Experience with process improvement initiatives and CRM systems.Experience supporting students with disabilities or in a tertiary education environment.Knowledge of Symplicity Access or similar systems.Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to equity and inclusion. Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offer
